This happened a few days ago, but a Deathly Hallows Part 2 poster for Snape has been released. It was one of the last, followed only by Bellatrix, which I honestly think is pretty stupid. At the very least, he should've been the fourth- after the Trio. But that doesn't matter now, because it's out now.
This is just... SO. AMAZING. It is by far the best DH poster (and yes, I am just saying that because I love Snape). But even if you don't like Snape, you can't deny that this is intense. His expression is perfect, the lighting is perfect, his hair is perfect... And I love the sparks... It really intensifies it even more. I wonder how long Alan Rickman had to stay in the photoshoot to get this... probably not long at all. They just tell him, "Okay Alan, the point of this is to look as sexy as possible." Then he says, "No problem." And it's done in five minutes.
I have one more piece of news for today; the MiM Experience has recently announced an opportunity to become more active in the Prince's Tale when we get there. Everything was explained on their Facebook page, but I have it here:
With the Final Battle fast approaching, the Magic is Might staff is working tirelessly to send out this experience in style. Whether or not you like Snape, everyone can agree that the Prince’s Tale is one of the most pivotal and unexpected portions of the series. Thus, we have decided to do something a little bit different for this section. We’re not going to release all the details, but you’ll definitely see the end result the day of the Final Battle. However, we do have a request for you to help make this surprise possible. Here’s what we want:
We need hand-drawn pictures of “The Prince’s Tale,” whatever that means to you. Each picture should be a scene that you think would be appropriate for this topic. It does not need to come straight from that chapter, but should have some sort of canon basis (ie: no Snarry). We will choose what is and isn’t appropriate, and apologize in advance if your picture is not included. Here are some things you can do ahead of time to ensure that your picture will be included.
1) The picture should be 4 in wide and 5 inches long, or 288X360 pixels. It should also not be too detailed that if it’s shrunk down you can’t tell what it is.
2) The picture should either be hand-drawn or made on a computer, but cannot include pictures from the movie. They can be based off of scenes from the movie, but can’t be direct screenshots.
3) We have young viewers. Use your discretion, but if your material is inappropriate in any way, we will not include it. Use your judgment.
4) Be creative! We don’t just want all pictures of the same thing.
5) Have your picture turned in by June 27th. If it’s not in by then, we’re not using it.
Send your drawing to princestale@magicismight.co.uk . You may sign it in the corner, but you may not place a watermark or anything across it or we won’t use it. Within your email, include this statement:
I give permission for this image to be used or sold by the Magic is Might Experience (and then “sign” it by typing your name.
We promise we won’t abuse your image, but once you “sign” this disclaimer, there’s no turning back.
Thank you so much, and see you on July 5th-6th!
The Magic is Might Team
I'll be submitting a picture, and I hope some of you guys do, too!
