I would have posted earlier today, but I'm very busy with my own fanfiction. I'm on the last chapter of Book 2, and I'm freaking excited.
Anyway, I have a Snape/Hermione fic today. I normally don't read Sevione (Snamione, Snanger Danger, whatever you call it) that much, but I really like this one. It's called Kiss From A Rose and is AU- Now, I normally don't like AUs, so that shows how good this one is for me to like it. It has nearly 2000 reviews and exactly 200 chapters (weird, isn't it?), so I'd say it's worth checking out.
The chapters are short, though, so you don't have to worry about it taking forever to read. And it's Rated T, so no heavy sexual stuff. *slightly disappointed*
I'm not going to give away too much, but the story summary is: Severus wanted money. Hermione wanted a name. What happens when a Snatcher most believed to be dead returns and threatens everything?
The Invisibility Cloak... the Elder Wand... and the Resurrection Stone. Together they make this link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6571673/1/Kiss_From_a_Rose

Snape Quote of the Week #23
"Vengeance is very sweet," Snape breathed at Black. "How I hoped I would be the one to catch you...."
"The joke's on you again, Severus," Black snarled. "As long as this boy brings his rat up to the castle"--he jerked his head at Ron--"I'll come quietly...."
"Up to the castle?" said Snape silkily. "I don't think we need to go that far. All I have to do is call the Dementors once we get out of the Willow. They'll be very pleased to see you, Black... pleased enough to give you a little kiss, I daresay...."
What little color there was in Black's face left it.
"You--you've got to hear me out," he croaked. "The rat--look at the rat--"
But there was a mad glint in Snape's eyes that Harry had never seen before. He seemed beyond reason.
"Come on, all of you," he said. He clicked his fingers, and the ends of the cords that bound Lupin flew to his hands. "I'll drag the werewolf. Perhaps the dementors will have a kiss for him too--"
Before he knew what he was doing, Harry had crossed the room in three strides and blocked the door.
"Get out of the way, Potter, you're in enough trouble already," snarled Snape. "If I hadn't been here to save your skin--"
"Professor Lupin could have killed me about a hundred times this year," Harry said. "I've been alone with him loads of times, having defense lessons against the dementors. If he was helping Black, why didn't he just finish me off then?"
"Don't ask me to fathom the way a werewolf's mind works," hissed Snape. "Get out of the way, Potter."
"YOU'RE PATHETIC!" Harry yelled. "JUST BECAUSE THEY MADE A FOOL OF YOU AT SCHOOL YOU WON'T EVEN LISTEN--"
"SILENCE! I WILL NOT BE SPOKEN TO LIKE THAT!" Snape shrieked, looking madder than ever. "Like father, like son, Potter! I have just saved your neck; you should be thanking me on bended knee! You would have been well served if he'd killed you! You'd have died like your father, too arrogant to think you might be mistaken in Black--now get out of the way, or I will make you. GET OUT OF THE WAY, POTTER!"
~Prisoner of Azkaban, Ch. 19 "The Servant of Lord Voldemort"
This part always gets me. I mean, I can't even imagine how Snape's feeling at this point... He must feel so justified and almost like a part of him that's died is coming back to life when he's this close to catching Sirius Black, since he thinks that Sirius is the one who gave Lily's location to Voldemort. By killing him, he would feel like he had really done something right.
And then when he's denied of that, it would be like losing everything all over again. He can't stand it, and is slowly losing his sanity. Poor Severus.
When he tells Harry that he ought to be thanking him, it seems that all Snape really wants is to be thanked for working so hard. I bet if Harry just thanked him for saving his life, he would hate him a lot less. Plus, I noticed that he said that James had been too arrogant to think he might be mistaken in Black, and that shows something as well--Snape hates Sirius much more than he hates James. Not only because he tortured him as a kid, but because he betrayed his friend (supposedly). As much as he hated James, I think Snape just wanted Lily to be happy.

Snape Video of the Week #23
Hunt You Down- Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls
After Ministry of Magic, OBatR is one of the best Wizard Rock bands ever. Not only do they have awesome songs with awesome lyrics, but Christian Caldeira can really sing. I've also become quite addicted to the Butterbeer Experience lately...
But anyway, this is more for the song than the video, since the video is just that picture the whole time. I love this song because even though it's from Harry's POV about how much he hates Snape, it's still an awesome song. Just like Lighting Struck Tower by MoM.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #23
So this video came out earlier this week, and you may or may not have seen it. I'm using it for today's post and not tomorrow's because 1. I would consider it news--Google does too, and 2. I couldn't find anything else.
This is not only hilarious, but also pretty serious in a sense. No, not Sirius, serious. I think everyone who thinks their life sucks needs to take a look at Severus Snape's life, and then compare. If it can get better for him, it can get better for you.
And this guy is... well, he's just awesome. He doesn't look much like Snape, but he can do a pretty damn good impersonation of his voice, even if it is exaggerated. And I LOL'd at 'sometimes lover' and 'Wizard's Cancer.' Anyway, I want to meet this guy. Really.

Snape Picture of the Week #23
I found this on tumblr a few days ago, and I think it's just the sweetest thing ever. Someone drew it after a dream they had where after Snape died, his life was sort of 'reset.' He's not exactly sure what's going on, but he knows that this life is his. That girl is his daughter and Lily's down in the kitchen, making breakfast.
Oh God, I AM CRYING TEARS THAT WILL NEVER CEASE AUUUGHHH
This is exactly what Snape deserves after the life he led. And this would be his heaven, wouldn't it? And his daughter is SO FREAKING CUTE I CAN'T EVEN... UGHHHH

Snape Theory of the Week #2
Did anyone ever love Snape?
I'm not counting Lily, of course, because I'm sure she loved him as a friend and even more than that until he became a Death Eater. And I'm pretty sure someone asked J.K. Rowling this once, but there are some things about the HP series that I don't take her word for. I like to have my own interpretations, and I want to know what you guys think.
First off, there's the possibility that someone had a crush on him during his years at Hogwarts. A lot of people would consider that unlikely, since he was apparently hated by most people at Hogwarts except for Lily and his Death Eater friends. But when you think about it, there are a lot of instances where everybody hates someone except for one person, and that person pretends to hate them as well just so they aren't hated too. I think it's possible that a Slytherin girl might have had a crush on him, and therefore hated Lily because they wanted to be with him. Who knows, maybe Lupin had a crush on him, and that's why he never partook in any of the bullying.
But that wouldn't necessarily be called 'love' if it's only a crush. There's also his Death Eater days... Maybe one of the female Death Eaters liked him. Honestly, I doubt that one.
And then there's his years as a teacher at Hogwarts. I think it's very possible that one of his students may have fallen in love with him. In fact, I think Hermione may have been in love with him until she found out he killed Dumbledore, and then she moved on to Ron. But there could have been a couple other girls throughout the years, likely Slytherin girls... I wouldn't doubt it. Although I don't think any of them ever actually tried to make a move on him or slip him Love Potion. He would be able to detect a Love Potion anyway.

Fanfiction Friday #23
Okay, so I found the best thing ever today. You know how Snape accidentally calling Lily 'Mudblood' basically ruined his life? It ended their friendship, pushed him even further to becoming a Death Eater, and eventually led to him overhearing the prophecy that referred to either Lily or Alice Longbottom and Lily's death. That was all because of one little word.
Now, imagine what would have happened if Snape had been able to control his anger and hadn't called her that word. Someone already has, and decided to turn it into a fanfic. I don't know if they're the first person to do this, but they're off to a good start so far. It's called Always and Never, and they just started it a few days ago, so there's only one chapter right now. So if the end up not continuing with it or doing a bad job (which I doubt), you can't blame me.
I siriusly can't wait to read on, because I really love this idea. Snape would have had a much better life... One that he deserves.
The Silver Doe appears, and leads you to the frozen pond.
