Snape Site of the Week #4

You'd be surprised with the lack of good Snape websites out there. Because I was.

So today, I have another tumblr. At least it's all Snape pictures. It's What Would Severus Do? and it has SO much Snape... I go there everyday, and there's a good balance of pictures that make me cry, laugh so hard I fall out of my chair, and faints from too much sexiness.

There's also a lot of Snape/Harry pictures, so don't go there if you hate Snarry. I normally don't ship that, but some of the pcitures on there are pretty sexy.

Also, I'm gonna be saying WWSD from now on... :D

Fanfiction Friday #11

I have been SO stressed lately... I have a College-level essay(I'm a freshman in highschool, so it's a lot of work) due, a visual to go along with that essay, A packet of Biology questions, and I need to do extra credit for Algebra 2 because I got a 79 on my last test. And outside of schoolwork, I'm still trying to make time to read HP (I'm rereading the whole series AGAIN), manage this blog, and keep up with writing my fanfiction. And even though I know I shouldn't, I really want to make my fanfic my priority, because I hate making my followers wait for over a week for each chapter. I feel like I lose readers that way. Plus, there's a lot of Alan Rickman movies on lately... and I need time for those.

But that's not your problem, so I'll just get on with the blog. I found an awesome Snape/Lily fic called Lily and the Halfblood Prince. It's over 100 chapters, but they're not super-long chapters. They're not short, either. If you're busy, like me, and have a lot of stress, it would be a good idea to read a few chapters each day. That way, you have something to look forward to everyday to take a break from stress.

Seriously, this story is addicting. It's all about Snape and Lily's friendship, from the day they met all the way through their years at Hogwarts. It's Romance/Adventure, and follows the canon timeline. It includes scenes from The Prince's Tale, but is mostly other events. It's completely in-character, and it's extremely well-written. I've actually started to believe that this is canon, because it makes so much sense.

Snape Quote of the Week #10

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Lily shouted. She had her own wand out now. James and Sirius eyed it warily.
"Ah, Evans, don't make me hex you." said James earnestly.
"Take the curse off him, then!"
James sighed deeply, then turned to Snape and muttered the countercurse.
"There you go," he said, as Snape struggled to his feet again, "you're lucky Evans was here, Snivellus-"
"I don't need help from filthy little Mudbloods like her!"
Lily blinked. "Fine," she said cooly. "I won't bother in the future. And I'd wash your pants if I were you, Snivellus."

This is from the Snape's Worst Memory chapter in Order of the Phoenix. I cry so hard everytime I read that scene, especially at this part. My keyboard is wet with my tears as I type this. No joke.

It makes me cry that Lily cared about him so much before, and because she never forgave him even though I bet she still cared about him. And it makes me cry that Snape said that only out of anger and humiliation. And it makes me cry that Lily ended up with the man that ended her and Severus's relationship.

I bet Lily was the kind of girl that was really smart, and also really stubborn. She relied on logic and solved everything, but no matter how much her brain was telling her that Snape was a bad person to be around, they had been best friends forever and her heart refused to give up on him. Hearing him call her a Mudblood was like hearing him say 'I hate you.' And that must have made her so sad, but she didn't want to cry in public. So, the only way to keep from crying was to be angry, which she was. She wanted Severus to feel as bad as he made her feel. At least, that's my theory.

I must go now, because I'm crying too hard.

Snape Insults YOU #10

Snape Insults Barack Obama

Mister Obama, how nice of you to join us. The Dark Lord has just taken over the Ministry, but I see you see it as more important and a better use of your time to play Exploding Snap. Ten points from Slytherin. Oh, I suppose you want the Death Eaters to win, don't you? If you weren't such a coward, you'd stand up and fight. But you're not, you miserable little cockroach, so you'll undoubtedly be killed when they decide to attack Hogwarts. You. Disgust me.

Snape Video of the Week #10

Ministry of Magic- Snape vs. Snape

This is definitely one of my most favorite songs of all time. Considering the fact that the only music I listen to is Wizard Rock(and also Trock sometimes, which is music about Doctor Who) and that my favorite band is Ministry of Magic AND that I'm in love with Snape, it should be obvious. And of course, my other favorites are also songs about Snape.

I really think this song sums up how Snape feels about everyone hating him when they find out he used to be a Death Eater. He must feel so horrible, being more loyal to Dumbledore than they could ever be and not being able to prove it, or tell them why.

Also, I think the girl's part is supposed to represent all the naysayers that refuse to believe that Snape can be trusted, as well as a little nagging bitch inside of him. The only thing keeping him from going over to the Dark Side is Lily... :'(

As sad as the lyrics can make you if you really pay attention, I love how it's so upbeat. All of MoM's songs are- even the ones that are supposed to be sad.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #10

Muggle-F*cking Troll Sh*t THERE IS NO SNAPE NEWS. UGH.

I could not FIND anything significant- Well, at least that means I'm not a Hufflepuff.

So I guess I'll just list some small, trivial things that I was able to find.

  • Alan Rickman was caught drinking water and making small-talk with Cameron Diaz on set. Whoop-de-doo.
  • Speaking of Gambit, part of it will be filmed in Texas, where I live. This is pretty exciting, but I have no idea where in Texas he'll be. If I do find out, I'll be the first to get past security and glomp him. :3
  • In May, Alan Rickman will perform live in 'Private Lives.' That's pretty important, but it's really not until May. You can find out more about here.
Yeah. That wasn't evn Snape news... It's just Alan Rickman. Not that just Alan Rickman shouldn't be enough...

But I guess this is sort of news: I finished the 10th chapter of my Snape fic! If you're not reading and keeping up with it, you should. Please. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6631189/1/Severus_Snape_and_Vesperra_DMonicas

Happy Easter!!!

The Dark Lord really should get a nose... But Siriusly, it's Easter! It's the day that Jesus supposedly came back to life, but more importantly, it's the day where you get multiple pictures on this blog! Yep. To celebrate Easter, I'm treating you guys. Firstly, here's an amazing picture of Alan Rickman:
*swoons* This has to be the happiest Easter EVER.

And being obsessed with Harry Potter like I am, I made all these awesome Easter Eggs:

I don't mean to brag, but- Wait, yes I do! Aren't those the best eggs you've ever seen? They are. I know it. Well, have a good Easter, guys!

Snape Site of the Week #3

This week, I actually had to go looking for site. Yeah, I know it must seem surprising that I don't just have a hundred Snape websites favorited on my laptop, but I don't. Well, I do have a lot, but most of them are blogs or Tumblrs. And I didn't want to overdo the blog thing.

So I found a cools site, called Severus Snape Fans. And it's not an official domain, because it's by Wetpaint. I don't even know anyone who uses Wetpaint anymore, though... I think people used that a lot a few years ago, then Tripod, but Freewebs was always popular. Either way, I don't think it's been updated in a while, and by 'a while', I mean about a year. Or two.

Even so, there's enough Snape to keep you busy until I post another site next week. There's fan essays about him, pictures, quotes... enough for your likings. AND there's Alan Rickman wallpaper, icons, interviews, and quotes! *squee* I think that's why I chose it. Now, when I'm depressed, I can go read a whole bunch of quotes from Alan...

I realized that last week, I used 'Omr' and didn't tell you guys what it meant. No, it wasn't a typo. Well, in case you didn't already know, it can either stand for 'Oh My Rowling' or 'Oh My Rickman.'

Oh, and I have facebook page now! If you don't have a Blogger account, but still want to follow the blog, go Like it, and I'll let you know when I've updated my blog: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Severus-Freakin-Snape-Blog/166110920112686

Fanfiction Friday #10

Horray for no school! Everyone thinks we have school off because it's Good Friday, but the real reason is because it's Fanfiction Friday.

This week, I present you with a Snape/Hermione fic, called The Incident in the Great Hall. This is the first Snape/Hermione I ever read, and the one that hooked me into it. Before, I thought it was weird that this pairing even existed, but after starting it, I loved it. But still not as much as Snape/Lily.

For those of you that like stories with many chapters that are really long, your prayers have been answered... sort of. This fic is 20 chapters, and it took me a while to read- But it's worth it. It was written before Deathly Hallows came out, so it takes place in her seventh year, and also on the pretext that Hermione was a year older than everyone else when she started Hogwarts and that the extensive use of a Time-Turner made her somewhat older. A lot of people wouldn't read it otherwise, because they think it's gross and wrong unless Hermione's of age, but I honestly don't have any problem with student/teacher pairings.

There's some good action, but a lot of it is just memories explaining how Hermione and Snape ended up together. They're long and well-described memories, though, and some parts of it get pretty hot.

The plot is amazing, the moments are sweet, and it's just an awesome story.

Destination, Determination, Deliberation...
Oh, look! You Apparated right to this link! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1926625/1/The_Incident_In_The_Great_Hall

Snape Quote of the Week #9

"You fool," said Lupin softly. "Is a schoolboy grudge worth putting and innocent man back inside Azkaban?"
BANG! Thin, snakelike cords burst from the end of Snape's wand and twisted themselves around Lupin's mouth, wrists, and ankles; he overbalanced and fell to the floor, unable to move. With a roar of rage, Black started toward Snape, but Snape pointed his wand straight between Black's eyes.
"Give me a reason," he whispered. "Give me a reason to do it, and I swear I will."

That was from Prisoner of Azkaban , when Snape shows up in the Shreiking Shack.

This makes me really mad, because I wouldn't call it a "schoolboy grudge." I think Snape had a right to hate him, considering how James and Sirius tormented him as a child, and it's their fault that Lily stopped being friends with him. So if you call that a "schoolboy grudge," then yes, it's worth it. Hell, I would do the same. Besides, when have you ever known Snape to care about the fate of other people?

And the last part is really emanating with anger- So much that I feel Snape's anger. How would it feel to finally confront the people that made your life the Hell it is today, and have them completely at your mercy? You'd be filled with unfathomable rage the moment you saw them, but once you had them all in the same room, and you're the only one with a wand... You'll go insane with revenge.

Snape Insults YOU #9

Snape Insults Stephanie Meyer

Miss Meyer, need I remind you that this is Potions Class? Put away your laptop this instant! I will have none of this nonsense of 'vampires sparkle' and 'werewolves change at will,' anyway. Vampires are bloodsucking monsters- You should know this! And clearly you didn't read page 394, or else you would have known that werewolves only change at the full moon, and cannot control themselves when they transform! If you continue to refuse to believe me, perhaps I could send you to Remus Lupin next full moon so you can have hands-on experience... And I've had enough of you disrupting class to talk to Mr. Diggory! Five points from Gryffindor. Must you throw glitter on him in corridors? Filch has to clean that up, but he can't because he'll be busy giving you detention tonight!

Snape Video of the Week #9

Ellen Degeneres's Cameo in Deathly Hallows Part 1

This. Is. Bloody hilarious. I've watched this a million time because it literally never gets old. I'm suddenly really jealous of her... I need that Snape costume. You know what, I bet she's met Alan Rickman too. Now I'm even more jealous.

Only Ellen would throw a cherry tomato at the Dark Lord... Not that I would know, because I don't watch her show.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #9

If you live in Britain, you'll have gotten it about a week earlier, but on April 15th, Deathly Hallows Part 1 came out on DVD and Blu Ray!

But I got it on DVD(and I don't even know who has Blu Ray), so I couldn't get any of the special features.

But that was my first time watching it, so I thought I'd give my own review on it. If you haven't seen it yet, **SPOILERS**

I nearly lost it when Snape was first striding through the hedges and into the Malfoy Manor- he just looked so damn sexy. But anyway, I loved Alan Rickman so much in that scene. He's so perfect at keeping his face impassive during all that's happening, and yet we can see the torturedness in his eyes when he looks at Charity Burbage.

As for when Harry was finally left alone at Privet Drive, I got so mad that they cut out Dudley's redemption scene. I mean, they had it filmed and cut and everything, so why couldn't they use it?! They suck for not including it.

The Seven Harrys scene was perfect. Siriusly perfect. They got almost every line perfect, and it was hilarious! Same with the Battle Over Little Whinging- Every time I read the book, I never really feel sad when Hedwig died. Mostly because she's just a bird, and the only person I shed more than a couple tears for was Snape. But they actually made Hedwig's death sad... :'(

They didn't mess up too many details in Bill and Fleur's Wedding, so I didn't get too mad. Except that Kingsley's Patronus didn't even look like a Patronus.

Now, when they start hunting for Horcruxes, I got nervous because I knew there were going to be plot holes from the missing scenes in Half-Blood Prince. I noticed that they mainly tried to avoid those, but any true HP would have noticed their crude cover-up. When they were trying to get the locket from Umbridge, I liked how well they kept to the book. Then again, there's that thing that's annoyed me since the Chamber of Secrets; When you take Polyjuice Potion, you don't keep your own voice.

And although it wasn't in the book, I liked the scene where the Snatchers walk by them and Scabior smells Hermione's perfume. But I'm still dumbfounded as to why she'd be wearing perfume at all.

Of course, Ron leaving was heavy. Not enough to make me cry, but my heart was thudding. They did a good job. Harry and Hermione in Godric's Hollow was somewhat ironic, because Hermione tells him they should've used Polyjuice Potion, but in the book, they did use it. I was sort of disappointed at the lack of a statue of James, Lily, and Harry. Bathilda Bagshot looked exactly like I imagined her. And the fight between Harry and Nagini was especially awesome, and also sort of funny when they brought it into the bathroom.

When the silver doe showed up, I actually started crying. It seems wierd that I would cry for a Patronus and not for Hedwig or Mad-Eye, but that's just how much I love Snape. Because having read the whole thing multiple times, I know what Snape must have been feeling when he cast it. Plus it just makes me cry every time it's mentioned that his Patronus is a doe.

And here we are... Ron killing the Horcrux. Well, I know there's been a lot of controversy about the Horcrux Harry and Hermione appearing to make-out naked. I'm not going to lie, I thought it was a good touch to make Ron furious and was kind of hot.

Ron's whole speech about the tiny ball of light floating through his chest was so awesome, but not awesome enough to make me fall in love with him, like it did a lot of other people. Because no matter what, my heart belongs to Severus.

Then Xenophilius Lovegood's house... I want to live there. But anyway, I loved how they animated the Tale of the Three Brothers. I always imagined Xenophilius's voice in that scene to be a little wispier and nervous, though.

Even though it totally ruined the whole 'Taboo' thing, I didn't mind so much that they made a clear shortcut from Xeno's house to being caught by Snatchers. Did you see Scabior in that scene? He was effing SEXY. He could never compare to Severus, but he was pretty sexy. And he was freaking about to make out with Hermione. The lucky bitch.

The second Malfoy Manor scene was the best, by far. I was cringing when Hermione was screaming like that while being tortured by Bellatrix. Then I jumped in excitemnt when Dobby showed up. But I was so disappointed that they didn't include Wormtail's death. Then when Bellatrix was screaming at Dobby and he said, "Dobby never meant to kill, only maim or seriously injure!", I suddenly loved him so much. Just like with Hedwig, I was never sad at Dobby's death, but the movie made me cry a little.

I guess that's it for the review, except that I just want to mention how I always wait for Alan's Rickman's name to show up in the credits before I turn off the movie. :D

Snape Picture of the Week #9

After posting that Snape Quote of the Week a couple weeks ago, I decided to draw a picture of what I think Snape looked like during that scene. I did my best to capture the fury in his eyes and the stress in face, as well as the wind blowing his hair over his face.

I'm sorry my drawings are always bad quality, but I don't have a scanner. So I have to take pictures of them with my phone.

But siriusly, I think this is one of the best I've ever drawn. But you know what, I'm going to treat you guys to another sketch of mine today. Well, all 3 of you. I don't think many people follow this blog. But you have to admire how dedicated I am despite the lack of feedback.

Horray for surprise kisses! I wouldn't object. ;) I think this is better than my other picture of me snogging Snape, mainly because I got the angle better.

Snape is the only thing I draw, and it's usually me snogging him. That doesn't make me wierd or anything...

Snape Site of the Week #2

This website isn't strictly Snape(Omr, that has to be a shirt. Or a band. Or... whatever. It just sounds awesome.), but there's a lot of Snape in it.

It's a blog quite like this one, except not at all. But it is a blog. It's on Tumblr, so it's just pictures, but it's all about ALAN RICKMAN. Yeah, so you get a new picture of Alan Rickman every day. It's like heaven.

It's probably the best website ever created. Ever. It's a great site to go when you're bored, and all you feel like doing is drooling over pictures of Alan Rickman.

And the link is where I said 'Alan Rickman' in all caps, in case you didn't know.

Fanfiction Friday #9

Just some extra news before I start; Today is Emma Watson and Emma Thompson's Birthday, which is really wierd and awesome at the same time. It also happens to be the day the Deathly Hallows Part 1 comes out on DVD in America.

Since it's technically Hermione and Sybill Trelawney's birthday, I wish I had saved the Snape/Trelawney fic for this week, because I was totally unaware of this a week ago. So you might think I'm going to do a Snape/Hermione fic in celebration of Emma Watson's birthday, but you're wrong. I already have one ready to do. It's called Ridiculous.

My friend showed me this, and I was really reluctant at first, but curiosity got the better of me. It is a slash, but not a pairing you'd expect. So I'm saving that detail for the end. It doesn't really matter though, because you'll probably just scroll down anyway.

It's extremely well written, and it actually makes up for it being such a wierd pairing. In fact, it's so well written and has such a good plot that it starts to make sense. I was almost scared at how much sense it made, and was afraid all my interpretations were wrong, but then I had to remind myself that Snape isn't gay.

It even mostly goes along with Canon, so it isn't AU. It finds a way to denounce Snape's past with Lily and everything. It's only one chapter, but it's a long chapter. About the size of a chapter of an actual HP book.

There is some sex in it, and the description gets graphic at a couple parts...

The pairing is Snape/Karkaroff. I know some people have heard of it and actually like it, but I only recently found out about it, and was squemish when I started reading it. But then I liked it.

WHAT THE DEVIL IS GOING ON HEREEEEE?
You haven't clicked the link yet? Why, that's ABSUUURD-

Snape Quote of the Week #8

"Do you remember me telling you we are practicing nonverbal spells, Potter?"
"Yes," said Harry stiffly.
"Yes, sir."
"There's no need to call me 'sir,' Professor."

This is another one from The Half-Blood Prince, during their first DADA class with Snape.

When I first read this, I just wanted to go "OOOOHHHHH". It's such a pwnage moment. I love Severus to death, but Harry was being such a smart-ass there. Although, I did get really mad at Harry for disrespecting Snape like that. Plus, Snape must have felt really humiliated. Regardless, it's a hilarious scene, and it sucks they didn't include it in the movie.

Snape Insults YOU #8

This week, if you're hoping to hear some snarky comments and cruel insults, you might be disappointed. Snape's prepared to insult this guy, but decides against it and makes friends with him instead.

Snape Insults Has a Conversation With Alan Rickman

Good Afternoon, sir. Might I ask for your name?
Rickman. Alan Rickman... And yours? *shakes hand*
Severus Snape. Having a nice day?
Why, yes. Say, you don't have any tea, do you?
Of course. Accio Tea!
Wow, I wish I could do that.
Well, it's hereditary. Speaking of which, you look a lot like me.
I don't see it. Maybe it's the hair...
But we definitely have the same nose.
You don't suppose the Rickmans and the Snapes are related?
It's possible. So, tell me about yourself.
I've led a tragic life for the most part... Hundreds of girls fawn over me constantly, but the one I actually fall for always rejects me.
That's so wierd, me too!
And I'm probably just going to die loveless, and in a horribly painful way.
I've always thought the same about myself.
Well, it was nice meeting you, Severus. *shakes hand again*
You too, Alan.

Snape Video of the Week #8

Portraits in Dramatic Time

This isn't really a Snape video, but it has the next best thing; Alan Rickman. This was basically a short film he did that probably took one minute to film, but its slowed down so much it's seven minutes long. I, for one, think it's the sexiest thing I've ever seen.

Some of the stills in this are just so awesome, I want to die when I see it. It's sexy overload. There's also no sound, so you focus more on Alan's sexiness.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #8

This week has been slow for Snape News too, and once again, I just found more Spoilers for Deathly Hallows Part 2.

You probably won't want to read them either, but as I could find nothing else, I thought I might as well post it. I didn't read the article myself, but from things I've accidentally read elsewhere, I can tell you a couple things.

For one, the directors felt bad for making Snape's part minimal in Half-Blood Prince(which they should, the bloody gits), so they tried to get a lot of Snape in there. They're also changing some Snape scenes, but I'm not sure which. They better not change anything important, or I'll be furious. But of course, they think they're changing it for the better and a 'better cinematic experience'.

Anyway, if you're one of the kinds of people that want Spoilers, go ahead: http://www.reelmovienews.com/2011/04/producers-talk-harry-potter-and-the-deathly-hallows-part-2-spoil/

Snape Picture of the Week #8

Yeah, this is pretty silly. See, a while ago, I was searching on Google and started to type in "Snape with" and one of the suggestions was "Snape with pancakes on his head." Needless to say, I clicked on it, and this came up. Apparently, it's a viral photo(or was at some point)... Afterwards, I couldn't remember what I was searching for in the first place.

When you think about it, this doesn't even look anything like Snape. It just has his clothes(sort of... it has his cape floating on nothing) and his hair. I usually don't like chibi-style fanart, because I think chibi is for people that can't draw, but I just had to post this. It's just so random.

I'm really hungry for pancakes now.

Snape Site of the Week #1

There just aren't enough parts of Snape to lecture you guys about forever... So I'm introducing a new topic to replace How To Be Like Snape: Snape Sites. This will last 7 weeks, then there'll be a new topic, and so on.

Here, I'll be reviewing other Snape/Alan Rickman related websites.

So this week, I found the best Snape Canon website that could possibly exist. It has original drafts from JK Rowling, pretty much all the Snape quotes in all the books, and a full Snape timeline, plus other things. The timeline is really useful if you're writng a fanfic and want to stay as in Canon as possible...

I have it on my favorites bar for easy access, because it's so awesome! :D

Here's the link: http://www.half-bloodprince.org/

Fanfiction Friday #8

Well, '7' Week is over. Not that anything changed, but it's so awesome I've been doing nothing but Snape-related things for over 7 weeks straight!

Anyway, I decided to venture out of the norm and look for a fic besides Snape/Lily and Snape/Hermione. I decided not to try and read any slash, because it's just hard to see Snape with a guy. It's just wrong. What I did find, though, was a fic called The Real Me, which is Snape/Trelawney.

Siriusly, you won't believe how many of those there are. On fanfiction.net, there were only about 38, but I know there's more on other websites and I honestly expected there to only be a few. And of the 38 that came up in the search, I was even more surprised to find that most of them were long, and actually pretty literate. I think the main appel for this ship is that Emma Thompson is in so many other movies with Alan Rickman as his love interest/wife that people wanted them to be together in HP as well.

Anyway, it's 20 chapters and completed, and was created for the 'Potter Place Anything Goes Challenge.' In it, Sybill Trelawney comes out of hiding, and returns to her supposed previous appearance and personality. If you're already confused, you'll have to read it to understand. She finds out Snape's still alive, partly because of Fawkes. Now, when I read that Fawkes saved him, I got really excited because I was just thinking about that a few days ago! Fawkes couldn't have died with Dumbledore... and when Harry was in the Chamber of Secrets, Fawkes swooped in and saved him and stuff. Why couldn't he have swooped in and saved Severus?

This story has a unique and awesome plot, and even though it's an unlikely pairing, it actually starts to makes sense. Trust me, you'll want to read it.

Click the link to the fanfiction... *points wand* Imperio! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5018203/1/The_Real_Me

Snape Quote of the Week #7

Snape's pale face, illuminated by the flaming cabin, was suffused with hatred just as it had been before he had cursed Dumbledore.
"You dare use my own spells against me, Potter? It was I who invented- I, the Half-Blood Prince! And you'd turn my inventions on me, like your filthy father, would you? I don't think so... no!"
Harry had dived for his wand; Snape shot a hex at it and it flew feet away into the darkness and out of sight.
"Kill me then," panted Harry, who felt no fear at all, but only rage and contempt. "Kill me like you killed him, you coward-"
"DON'T-" screamed Snape, and his face was suddenly demented, inhuman, as though he was in as much pain as the yelping, howling dog stuck in the burning house behind them- "CALL ME COWARD!"

This is from The Half-Blood Prince, after Snape killed Dumbledore and Harry chased after him.

It almost makes me cry when his face is described as being screwed up with hatred, because we know he hated Dumbledore for making him kill him, and so that leaves us to ask- Was it the same kind of hate? Was it even towards Harry? I bet it was still hatred for Dumbledore for making him do what he did, which he knew had turned everyone against him.

Then, when he yells at him for trying to use his own spells and admits to being the Half-Blood Prince, I can't help but wonder if he thought after knowing he was the Half-Blood Prince, then he might rethink his hatred for Snape. Otherwise, I want to cry for how mad he is. This is a pivotal point in the book, and the film adaptation completely ruined it! By just watching the film, you can't feel how angry he's supposed to be! And he's supposed to yell all this, not silently curse Harry, walk up to him, and be all, "Yes, I'm the Half-Blood Prince."

His face was demented, inhuman. Because of Snape, whenever I hear the word "coward", I stiffen a little. For him, being called a coward makes him so angry he loses all control, and he could have killed Harry in his rage. He's anything but a coward; He's the Bravest Man I Ever Knew. But seriously, he's fighting against every fiber in him... Harry has no idea of the choices that Snape faces. Only true bravery can allow a person to do that and not collapse under the pressure. And yes, I stole that from a Ministry of Magic song.

Snape Insults YOU #7

Snape Insults Rebecca Black

Miss Black, I'd have expected you to live up to your prestigious name, but once again, I was wrong. Your talent is less than nothing compared to that of Narcissa's, Bellatrix's, or Andromeda's... and yet, you bear a striking resemblance to Sirius... after he escaped from Azkaban. Yes- YES, Miss Black, I know it's Friday, but the only thing that's going to get down is your grade, and I doubt you'll pass this year. Why are you so excited for the weekend? Oh, you're not going to Hogmeade. You'll be spending that time with Flitwick, learning how to rhyme. I never thought I'd say it, but you forced me; Ten points from Slytherin.

Snape Video of the Week #7

Snape's Diary

If you're obsessed enough with Snape to follow this Blog, I'm assuming you're obsessed with Harry Potter in general, and if you are, you should have at least heard of Potter Puppet Pals, if you don't watch and re-watch the videos avidly.

This is one of their newer ones, and because it's Snape related, it's my favorite. I suggest you watch the extended version, because there's extra stuff and you can never get enough Snape. Here: http://tinyurl.com/NeilHETV
It's so freaking hilarious, but honestly, it's sort of sad. Or at least, it makes me sort of sad. I mean, there'sno doubt that if Severus actually kept a diary, it would be something like this.

I hope he finds his button.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #7

This has pretty slow week for Snape-related news... I couldn't find much. Well, I did find one thing, but it had spoilers for Deathly Hallows Part 2. So naturally, I didn't even read it. Even though I've obviously read the last book, I don't want spoilers on how the film adaptation is going to be.

Anyway, the one other thing I could find isn't really news... But it's an article relating to Snape, so it counts.

You know how we all love Alan Rickman to death, but other people think we're gross? Well, MTV consider him sexy, so to all those who think he's ugly... In your face. But I doubt any of those people are here anyway.

The article is pretty much explaining how the 'older' actors of Harry Potter are sexy.

Here's the link: http://hollywoodcrush.mtv.com/2010/11/10/sexy-older-men-of-harry-potter/
Go. Bask in their sexiness. (Well, Alan's, at least)

Snape Picture of the Week #7

I made this one myself, and I really like it. I can't do that many effects on computer programs, but I think I did pretty well with this one.

In case you didn't know, the words are part of the chorus of the song Snape vs. Snape by Ministry of Magic. I love that song, and I decided that I wanted to put it in a picture. I seriously cried while making it, because it's just so sad... Well, Snape's entire life is sad.

The movie still in the top right is from the Half-Blood Prince, and the other is from Deathly Hallows Part 2, which was showed in the sneak peak during the HP marathon on ABC family in Spring Break.

His face in the bottom picture is just the saddest thing ever... Doesn't it make you want to cry.?! If it doesn't, then I hate you.

How To Be Like Snape #7

Have Snape's Attitude and Personality

This will probably the last HTBLS, becuase I don't know where I could go from here.

We love Snape so much, we're willing to lose our friends and have everyone hate us if it means we get to act like him. Well, I would.

Assuming you read this blog everyday, you've read the 'Snape Insults YOU' posts. Severus loves to insult people. He's hateful, and the only person that he truly cares about(besides Lily) is himself. Always having the victim as a child, he loves to see the light of hapiness leave children's eyes and make them cry.

You don't necessarily have to be a loner, but it would good to limit yourself to a select group of friends. And they have to be just as mean as you, but they shouldn't be exactly like you... If at all possible, have one best friend that is the exact opposite of you and your other friends, but is nice to you nevertheless.

When speaking to anyone but your friends, speaking curtly and be sarcastic. Make snarky remarks whenever possible. You shouldn't directly insult people for no reason... Wait for them to talk to you, and whether they're trying to be nice or teasing you, retort with something really mean, yet simple. You shouldn't sound angry, but instead rather calm.

At this rate, everyone but your closest friends will hate you... And if you're a true Snape fan, this is a good thing.

Even though you can have a few freinds, you should still keep to yourself most of the time.

Combine these extra tips with the other 6 HTBLS posts, and I shouldn't be able to distinguish you from the real Snape! (I'm exaggerating, of course, because the real Snape is easily distinguishable.)

Fanfiction Friday #7

Before I introduce today's fanfiction, I must mention that this is the beginning of the 7th week on this blog. Why does this matter, you ask? Well, I doubt you asked in the first place, assuming none of you are stupid.

7 is the most magical freaking number ever. Now, you might think that I'm going to post all '7' related things for the week, or post the best things I can find, or something else... But I'm not. Sorry to disappoint you, but I merely thought it was worth mentioning. And if you actually feel let down, then I'm doing my job, as it's April Fool's Day(and also Fred and George's birthday).

Anyway... Today, I went looking for a naughty fic... I've been fantasizing about Severus more than usual lately, so it's natural I'd want to read one. There were a lot more Snape/Hermione smuts than Snape/Lily, but I was determined to find one. I did get sort of disappointed with the lack of sex in it, but I found a pretty good oneshot called Sweet Root.

It involves Snape drunk, which should be enough for you to automatically want to read it, because drunk Snape is win. But Lily's also drunk in it... and it gets pretty silly. But it's also pretty hot at some parts. I'd say it's a pretty good balance between funny, sweet, and sexy.

You know what I see when I look in the Mirror of Erised? You clicking this link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6642656/1/Sweet_Root
