Snape Video of the Week #15

Potter Puppet Pals- Mustache Buddies

I have to say, this is one of my favorite PPP episodes. Voldemort's effing hilarious, and so is Snape even though he's completely in character.

Can you even imagine Snape with a mustache? Actually, I can, and he looks pretty damn sexy. Well, Alan Rickman has had a mustache in Truly Madly Deeply, The January Man, Robin Hood, Quigley Down Under, Die Hard, Rasputin, and Bottle Shock. And it's most often acompanied with a beard, but still, it's sexy.

I wonder if Snape shaves, or if he uses a charm to make sure hair doesn't grow on his face... These are the essential questions, people.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #15

As many of you may already, Empire magazine has done multiple interviews with Harry Potter stars, mainly about what the last film was like to shoot and what it feels like to have been part of such a phenomenon and now see it ending. Rather than giving an interview, however, Alan Rickman wrote a farewell letter to mark the "upcoming end of the Harry Potter franchise."

Now, the next part is going to be somewhat emotional, and I don't know whether I'm ruining the moment right now or making it better. But the reason I put that last part in quotations is because that is what many people are referring it as, but I don't believe it's true. As long as people love Harry Potter (which will be FOREVER), the franchise will never end either. I'm not going to go into a huge rant, but I would like to say this: Just because all the films are now finished being produced, that does not mean that Harry Potter will end, or even "go out of style." Okay, now back to the news.

Here is what Alan's letter said:

"I have just returned from the dubbing studio where I spoke into a microphone as Severus Snape for absolutely the last time. On the screen were some flashback shots of Daniel, Emma, and Rupert from 10 years ago. They were 12. I have also recently returned from New York, and while I was there, I saw Daniel singing and dancing (brilliantly) on Broadway. A lifetime seems to have passed in minutes. Three children have become adults since a phone call with Jo Rowling, containing one small clue, persuaded me that there was more to Snape than an unchanging costume, and that even though only three of the books were out at that time, she held the entire massive but delicate narrative in the surest of hands. It is an ancient need to be told in stories. But the story needs a great storyteller. Thanks for all of it, Jo."

I couldn't have said it better myself, Alan. *cries a little* I love how Alan is not one of those actors that sees acting as "just a job." He really becomes his characters. And he really appreciates Harry Potter for what it is.

You know, I know the perfect song to go with this.

Snape Picture of the Week #15

I just found this picture yesterday, and I honestly laughed my ass off. I can totally see Lily at the beginning of her marriage with James, and being all "Oh God, James is such a jerk..." and having an affair with Snape. You know, that should have been what actually happened.

There's a lot of fics about Harry being Snape's son, and they actually make sense. I mean, how the hell did Lily fall in love with James? I have a theory that he used Love potions or Confundus charm or something... but Lily definitely loved Harry whether he was James's or not. Mothers almost always love their children. Still, she probably kept an old picture of her and Sev under her pillow or something.

Snape Products You Should Totally Buy #1

I went through 7 weeks of Snape Sites, so now it's time for another thing to do on Saturdays. I chose to show you guys awesome Snape products. Keep in mind that I am not sponsored by these companies at all, so don't be all "You're selling out omg" because I'm not.

Now, this first one isn't really Snape, but it's Alan Rickman. I found a collection of Alan Rickman aprons, which you can buy here. Yeah, you heard me right. Aprons. They're all SO FREAKING AWESOME. I don't even cook, and I want one. My two favorites are definitely these:

If I had these aprons, I'd definitely cook more. You know, it would be awesome if Alan Rickman owned one of these.

If you have the money, I see no reason why you wouldn't buy these.

Fanfiction Friday #15

Before I get started here, I'd like to announce that this is my 100th post. *pulls cracker* Yay! I've literally been doing a post on this blog every single day for the past 100 days. That's an amazing feat, considering that I get virtually no feedback. Well, that just goes to show how dedicated I am. Or, it could just mean I'm overly obsessed with Snape... I'll go with both. Now, back to fanfiction.

One of my friends writes a Snape/OC story, and it's called In Fields of Purple Amaranth. It's also relatively famous, as it has over 600 reviews. The OC is a girl named Angela Zander, and it takes place one year before Harry comes to Hogwarts. (It's also assumably AU.) Even though there's really no inclination to Lily ever existing, I really like it. It's really well-written, with the style of an actual author (you know, for real books). And Angela is definitely NOT a Mary Sue. In fact, all of the scenes are very believable.

Although, this makes me really angry, because I literally rewrote the Sorcerer's Stone from Snape's point of view, and it only has 16 reviews. I'm sorry, but you'd think I'd get a little more recognition for doing something like that. Ugh... Whatever.

In (mostly) unrelated news, today, I finally won in Around the World. It was in my History class, and I actually made it all the way back to my desk for the first time in my life. I thought I'd share this because I totally shouted "50 points to Slytherin!" when I won.

Anyway, I should also tell you that the fic is rated M for sexual reasons. *giggles*

Wait- there's a fifth Triwizard Champion! *takes slip of paper* Oh, it's just a link to a fanfiction. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6242011/1/In_Fields_of_Purple_Amaranth

Snape Quote of the Week #14

"Do you recognize our guest, Severus?" asked Voldemort.
Snape raised his eyes to the upside-down face. All of the Death Eaters were looking up at the captive now, as though they had been given permission to show curiosity. As she revolved to face the firelight, the woman said in a cracked and terrified voice, "Severus! Help me!"
"Ah, yes," said Snape as the prisoner turned slowly away again.
And you, Draco?" asked Voldemort, stroking the snake's snout with his wand-free hand. Draco shook his head jerkily. Now that the woman had woken, he seemed unable to look at her anymore.
"But you would not have taken her classes," said Voldemort. "For those of you who do not know, we are joined here tonight by Charity Burbage who, until recently, taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."
There were small noises of comprehension around the table. A broad, hunched woman with pointed teeth cackled.
"Yes... Professor Burbage taught the children of witches and wizards all about Muggles... how they are not so different from us..."
One of the Death Eater spat on the floor. Charity Burbage revolved to face Snape again.
 "Severus... please... please..."

This is from the first chapter ("The Dark Lord Ascending") of Deathly Hallows, when Snape is reporting information to Voldemort at a Death Eater meeting at the Malfoy Manor.

I felt really sorry for Snape during this chapter. He has to keep up the Death Eater facade and everything, and then he sees one of his old colleagues being tortured. I can't even imagine how much he must want to help her, but he can't. He just has to sit there, looking impassive, while an innocent person dies. And there Voldemort is, saying it's gross that some people think Muggles are like them, while Snape was (and still is) in love with a Muggle-born.

They did a really good job with this scene in DH Part 1, especially the look on Snape's face. I mean, it's totally impassive, like it's supposed to be, but you can see something stirring in Snape's eyes, and those of us who have read the books knows what that means. Alan Rickman was simply wonderful(and sexy) in that scene.

Snape Insults YOU #14

Snape Insults Bella Swan

Dear Merlin, even I am not as depressed as you are, Miss Swan. Oh, you think your life is just so horrible, do you? I see, you hate that your father is too protective. Yes, that is just terrible compared to having a father that hates everything you and your mother are. And you seem to have plenty of friends, Miss Swan. All of whom met you, and despite your pathetic demeanor, took a instant liking to you. Yes, I understand just how much it hurts to have a lot of friends that care about you. The person you love more than anything left you? Well, at least they didn't marry the person you hated more than anything, have a baby with them, then die at your partial fault. How long had you known this person? Ten years? Eight years? Oh- less than two years. And how did you fall in love with him? Were you his best friend? Oh, I get it. He was 'attractive.' And he liked you because he couldn't read your mind? Well, Miss Swan, I have attempted Legilimency on you, and found nothing in that hollow head of yours. So it's no wonder he couldn't hear anything.

Snape Video of the Week #14

A Penseive Full of Unrequited Love

This is about the saddest song you will ever hear. It's by the Mudbloods, and I haven't heard much of their music except for this song, but I already know they're awesome for writing this.

Like Bravest Man I Ever Knew, the first few times I listened to this song, I cried very hard. It took over a week of watching this at least once a day to get used to it enough that I wouldn't cry, but I still choke up a bit every time I hear it.

This pretty much sums up Snape's life, and in a very sad way, too. The title itself makes me really sad, because I refused to believe that his love for Lily was completely unrequited, as you know if you read my blog everyday.

You know, I think this song is in a close tie with Bravest Man I Ever Knew for my favorite now.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #14

Okay, so I wish I hadn't told you guys this yesterday, so it would be more of a surprise, but I'm going to use it anyway. Either way, I couldn't find anything better.

After months of writing 3-5 pages a night, I have finished Book 1 of my fanfiction. I have kept with the canon timeline, and added an Original Character. So, I basically rewrote the first Harry Potter book from Snape's point of view.

Now, let's take a second to say HOW FREAKING AWESOME that is. Everybody that I told (that I know in real life, not on the internets) didn't think it was cool, though. They just thought I was too obsessed with Snape. Filthy muggles.

Yes, I will rewrite the rest of the books. It's going to take a while, though. But I just thought I should mention this, because it's huge news. To me, at least.

In other news, there was a Harry Potter marathon this weekend. Needless to say, I watched it.

Snape Picture of the Week #14

This picture never fails to crack me up. AND this just goes to show that you can related Harry Potter to anything. Suck on that, Twitards.

The best part about it is imagining it in Snape's voice... sexy, and hilarious. And you know, I can actually imagine this happening. Lol.

On an unrelated note, I have completed Book 1 of my fanfiction. If you don't already read it, it's basically the canon timeline with Snape's point of view, plus an OC. I explained it all in an earlier post(my first, actually). The point being, I have successfully rewritten the Sorcerer's Stone in Snape's point of view. I think this calls for celebration... *sets off fireworks* I am so proud of myself, guys. Anyway, you should go read it if you haven't already! Snape Site of the Week #7

To be honest, I couldn't find a decent Snape Site this week. There's a surprising lack of them, whe you take away all the Tumblrs. So I decided just a Harry Potter site would be fine.

I'm part of this site called Hex, which is basically a huge role-playing game for HP nerds. You take a test when you start out, so you can be Sorted into your House. It's not really a test, but you just describe yourself in as much detail as possible, sumbit it, and you're Sorted by moderator. Then, you can get your wand at Ollivanders, and your Blood Status is chosen at random.

You can buy things in Hogsmeade(but only on weekends), Diagon Alley, or Knockturn Alley. You can buy a cat, owl, or tarantula as a pet(I forgot to feed my tarantula and he died).

The other 'places' are just forums, but there's the Entrance Hall, the Great Hall, The Courtyard, your Dormitories, your Common Room, The Student Hangout, RP Central, and the Quidditch Feild. Then, there's forums for Magical Theories and DH Part 1 Discussions.

Also, you choose which Hogwarts subjects to take, and you have homework. You don't have to do it, but if you do, it earns you House Points.

It's a very fun website, and if you don't already, I suggest you make an account.

Fanfiction Friday #14

Okay, so in MiM world, there's a lot of conflict between Snape and Tonks. Or at least, a lot of heated arguments. Most of them are Tonks calling Snape a slimy git, and him throwing her an awesome comeback, and various people taking sides. (They usually take Snape's side.) It often comes down to the common people or Snape himself teasing Tonks that she has a massive crush on Snape and is just hiding it. That gave me the idea to look for Snape/Tonks fanfic, as I was sure I'd find a decent amount. I mean, people do often pair together characters that dislike each other...

So I found one called Behind Locked Doors, which is a lot like that one Snape/Hermione fic I did a post about a while ago, which involved Snape and Hermione being locked in a closet together. Well, this on is about Snape and Tonks being locked in a closet together. It's sort of strange, because this one also involves them being at Grimmauld Place, and it's not even written by the same Author.

It's one chapter, like the other, but it's a long chapter. Plus, it has much better grammar and spelling than the other one, which is always good. And the Author did a splendid job at keeping them in character... Did I really just say 'splendid'? Wow.

As always, there's some kissing involved(why else would I read it?), and it gets pretty sexy. But it's only rated T.

Drink the tea until only the dregs remain in the bottom of your cup... Oh, my dear... I fear you have-- not the Grim, but a link to this fanfiction! http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5221285/1/Behind_Locked_Doors

Snape Quote of the Week #13

"You might be laboring under the delusion that the entire wizarding world is impressed with you," Snape went on, so quietly that no one else could hear him (Harry continued to pound his scarab beetles, even though he had already reduced them to a very fine powder), "but I don't care how many times your picture appears in the papers. To me, Potter, you are nothing but a nasty little boy who considers rules to be beneath him."
Harry tipped the powdered beetles into his cauldron and started cutting up his ginger roots. His hands were shaking slightly out of anger, but he kept his eyes down, as though he couldn't hear what Snape was saying to him.
"So I give you a fair warning, Potter," Snape continued in a softer and more dangerous voice, "pint-sized celebrity or not -- if I catch you breaking into my office one more time --"
"I haven't been anywhere near your office!" said Harry angrily, forgetting his feigned deafness.
"Don't lie to me," Snape hissed, his fathomless black eyes boring into Harry's. "Boomslang skin. Gillyweed. Both come from my private stores, and I know who stole them."

This is from the Goblet of Fire during a potions class after the Second Task. I love this quote because Snape is at his worst -- I mean best.

He's so scary at this part... I mean, he's practically radiating hatred. And Snape is one of those people that makes menacing sexy. This is why I always imagine Alan Rickman as Snape when I'm reading. When you imagine it in his voice, everything is just so amazing.

I can just imagine Snape bending over my table in potions class to tell me something, and muttering it so quietly that he has to get an inch from my face so I can hear him... I wouldn't even care if he was punishing me. I would just lean forward a little... Or pretend I was knocked forward on accident, just so I could kiss him.

Aside from his sexiness in this scene, I can really tell how angry he is. I mean, Harry just reminds him so much of James, and he has to freaking protect him. That just sucks.

And the last part of it was in the film adaption... sort of. Snape was in his storeroom, and Harry walked by, and Snape was all, "Not something found in your everyday garden... Ah, what is this?" And then when he's accusing Harry of stealing, he says, "Boomslang skin... Lacewing flies." But that's wrong, because Lacewing Flies aren't even in his private stores- you can find it in the student cupboard.

But he still says "Don't lie to me." n the movie, which makes me shudder everytime I hear it.

Snape Insults YOU #13

Snape Insults Charlie Sheen

As I have told you many times before, Mister Sheen, cocaine is not a potions ingredient. Nor is it powdered horn of a 'Crumple-horned Snorcack', because those do not exist. Rather, it is a Class C Non-Tradeable substance... If I find you with this again, I will report you to the Ministry. In the meantime, fifty points will be taken from Gryffindor, and you will scrub the bedpans in the Hospital Wing. That should teach you that you are not, in fact, 'winning.'

Snape Video of the Week #13

Bravest Man I Ever Knew- Ministry of Magic

Another Ministry of Magic song about Snape! This is definitely my Number 1 favorite song of ALL TIME. If you haven't heard it, crawl out from the rock you've been hiding under.

I can't get enough of this song... It utilizes the best quotes ever in musical form. The first few times I listened to it, I cried. Hard. But even though it's super sad, I got used to it eventually. Although, at random times, I cry while listening to it. It's super up-beat, too, which makes it super awesome.

I respect that everyone has their own opinion and while I think it would be boring if everyone had the same favorite character, I don't understand how anyone can read the entire series and not love Snape. Those people need to listen to this song a shitload of times, and then they'll love him.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #13

If you follow MiM, which I'm pretty sure most of you do, then you'll already know this. But according to the MiM timeline, it was Severus Snape's birthday a couple days ago.

The Daily Prophet even dedicated an article to it, which you can read here.

More people wished Professor Snape than anyone other MiM person... that says something. And a lot of people gave him presents, too... I gave him a pewter mug engarved with the Slytherin Crest and a serpent handle. Although, he seemed to enjoy my condolensces that his birthday was another year closer to death more. He said the thought was comforting.

Of course, he got a lot of wine, which is always a favorite... and the Dark Lord gave him a vase of lilies. I don't know if that was tactless or sensitive of him... I mean, wouldn't Snape like some lilies to smell whenever he liked? Or would he be too sodden with grief to look at them without crying?

And as usual, Bellatrix and Tonks and pretty much all the rebellion members only insulted him about his birthday. >_<

Snape Picture of the Week #13

This is all the proof you need that Beiber sucks and Snape rules. I would definitely watch this movie if it were real. I mean, 'Never Say Never'?! You just said it- twice! Besides, thanks to Snape, "Always" is an iconic word. So is "Dunderhead" and "394" and(if you've seen AVPM) "inarticulate bumble."

I will now take time to describe why this picture is the best thing ever.

It's epic. Snape is epic, and thus, this is epic. If you read closer, it says "Say Always @ AfterAllThisTime.com" Plus, you know Snape is amazing when you can take something Beiber related, add him to it, and it's suddenly awesome!

It's also sad. The "Always" quote in the Prince's Tale always make me cry so hard. Now, whenever I hear the word in or out of context, I cry a little on the inside.

And of of course, it's bloody SEXY. Well, Snape is always sexy, but with this picture of him- with his hair like that, and him looking straight at you, and all those buttons... Too many buttons, too little time. And Snape's outift is really tight... Ugh, I just want to run my hand down his chest. Just once.

It's not everyday that you find a picture that's epic, sad, and sexy all at the same time.

Snape Site of the Week #6

This week, I figured I should do a fanfiction site.

Of course, it's comprised of fanfiction entirely about Snape, which is bloody awesome. You probably know about it, but I might as well feature it anyway. It's called Occlumency, and is an archive with hundreds of Snape fics. There's all the Snape pairings you could think of, and all the genres. And yes, there's dirty fics. ;D

There's also featured art on the homepage, and right now, it's a picture of Snape in the shower. Sadly, though, it's not below his waist.

There's other sycophant hex sites for Snape, or maybe just one. I'm not sure. But it's called Ashwinder, and it's only Snape/Hermione fics. That really says something, when you think about it-- There must be more Snape/Hermione fics than all the other Snape pairings put together. Am I the only one that thinks that's a little weird?

Nevertheless, they're good websites when you want a good Snape story.

Fanfiction Friday #13

Okay, this is just creepy. It's Friday the 13th, and it's also Fanfiction Friday #13. I assure you, I did not plan this. Coincidentally, it's also Robert Pattinson's birthday. Just thought I ought to mention it.

Today, I have a Snarry fic. Yes, Snarry. Snarry's the sort of pairing that you either love or you hate, but then again, people are indecisive. I normally hate Snape/Harry fics, but I love looking at fanart for it. But today, I was looking for fics, and realized that I hadn't done a Snarry yet. Needless to say, I found one, and it's not that bad.

It's called Mate?, and is an AU that takes place after Harry's final battle with Voldemort, in which Snape wasn't killed(obviously). Or at least, I assume they mean it to be only AU in that sense, because it implies that the whole Snape and Lily thing still happened. It's 15 chapters so far, and is still continuing.

What initially drew me to it is that it's Rated M, which means explicit sexual situations. Yay. Also, there's Mpreg involved(which, in case you didn't know, is male pregnancy). So, I figured I should warn you.

Either way, it's a great fic so far, and the relationship actually makes sense, so it's not just mindless smut.

You know what a Boggart turns into when it sees me? You refusing to click this link:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6875416/1/Mate

Snape Quote of the Week #12

"I'm sure my colleagues will want to enter into the spirit of the occasion! Why not ask Professor Snape to show you how to whip up a Love Potion!"
Snape was looking as though the first person to ask him for a Love Potion would be force-fed poison.

I'm sorry this post was late, but Blogger wasn't working yesterday. Anyway, in case you didn't know, this is from the Chamber of Secrets, on Valentine's Day. I didn't include the whole quote, because only the part about Snape seemed important. And that's Lockhart saying it, by the way. I realized that this is the first quote I've done that's about Snape, but not him saying it.

I laugh a little bit every time I read this part, because I can just imagine the look on Snape's face. You know, his eye twitching, lip curling, and a look of absolute fury igniting in his eyes. It's too bad hey didn't include this in the movie, because I want to see Alan Rickman make that face. Honestly, I'd be making that face too. I hate Valentine's Day, because everyone's giving each other flowers and chocolate and other stupid shit. I can imagine myself and Snape skulking in the corner together, folding our arms and scowling at everyone.

I also want to see what would actually happen if someone asked Snape for a Love Potion. He'd probably cast them a look of pure venom, then point to the door, and say coldly but without raising his voice, "Out!"

Speaking of Love Potions, if I had Amortentia, it would smell like Snape to me. Just him. *inhales and smiles*

Snape Insults YOU #12

Snape Insults J.K. Rowling

Must you make everything difficult for me, Miss Rowling? As an omnicient author, you create and control everything, and you insist on ruining my life. First, I lose the girl I love to the man I loathe more than anything, and then they both die at the hands of the man I work for. Then, the only way I can go on living without hating myself(well, not as much as I would) is to teach insolent brats for years. And then, I have to spend the majority of my time saving Potter from Quirrell, a bloody book, Sirius Black, Barty Crouch Jr., Voldemort, and pretty much everything. And how dare you kill me off? I do all that, and then I have to die?! Do you realize how much my fangirls hate you now? Fifty-thousand points from Gryffindor.

Snape Video of the Week #12

Pretty Women- Alan Rickman in Sweeny Todd

Not a Snape video, but it's Alan Rickman. If you haven't seen Sweeny Todd, you need to. It's a horror-musical, and it has Alan Rickman, Helena Bonoham Carter(Bellatrix), Timmothy Spall(Wormtail), and Jamie Campbell Bower(young Grindelwald) in it. Plus Johnny Depp, and even though he's not an HP star, he's still awesome. But anyway, it's a really good movie, and worth watching even if you don't like Alan Rickman.

Doesn't Alan sing like a freaking angel? His voice is already like silk when he speaks, so when he sings... *shudders*

I want him to sing to me. I'd die happy if Alan could sing to me.

Weekly Snape-ly Event #12

For some reason, The Washington Times did an article about Snape. Who am I to complain?

It talks all about his all-consuming, obsessive, unrequited love for Lily, and how it was one of the main things protecting Harry all those years, and led to him dying a hated and bitter man.

While some may call it 'obsessive', I don't like to think of his love for Lily like that. I mean, they became best friends at a very young age, and she was his only friend. I don't think Snape ever truly liked anyone else. Even his Slytherin friends- He didn't really like them. It was the closest thing to friendship he could have besides Lily, because there's no way he ever told them anything personal. And with that being said, it wasn't too difficult for him to fall so deply in love with her that he could never fall out. He wasn't being 'obsessive', he was being loyal. He truly cared about her, even if he was a little selfish. I never understood the whole 'love them so much you just want them to be happy' thing, myself. But either way, even after she stopped being friends with him, he still loved her and remained loyal. Even after she married James and had a baby with them, he was still loyal.

And as for 'unrequited', I refuse to believe that Lily never had feelings for Severus. Why else would she stay friends with him for so long, even after he started getting really interested in the Dark Arts? Snape never told her how much he loved her because he was insecure, and was afraid she'd say no. Lily was probably afraid of the same thing. And I think part of Snape knew she loved him back, even if he was scared to admit it. But after he called her that word, Lily must have been too angry and humiliated to carry on. It was her pride that kept her from forgiving him. Plus, I think that at that moment, she decided he must have not loved her back. If he had only told her...

But back to the article. It also talks about the Bloody Baron and his unrequited love, but I'm not going into detail. You can read the full article here.

Snape Picture of the Week #12

I thought I'd do a sexy today. You've probably seen it before, but I doubt you get tired of looking at it. It's just so... *faints*

This is really well-photoshopped, because I can hardly tell. Every time I look at it, I'm just screaming in my head, "Move the towel just a bit lower..."

There's also a version of the pic where he's completely naked, but I didn't think I should put that here...

Snape Site of the Week #5

This isn't really a Snape Site, but somone wanted me to promote it and it saves me the trouble of looking for one.

It's this online shop called Mud In My Blood, and it's all Harry Potter stuff! :D There's a lot of buttons with HP and AVPM references, as well as posters, wands, etc.

I really want this poster.

They have other Snape stuff, too. I siriusly need to get some of their stuff... or all of their stuff. It's pretty awesome.

They have a facebook page too, go like it!

Fanfiction Friday #12

This is one of the lucky days where I happened upon a good Snape fic before I even started looking for one... Speaking of which, I recently found out about My Immortal. If you don't know what that is, it's literally THE worst fanfiction ever written. The people are so OOC it's hilarious.

Anyway, the story I found today is called A Severus Snape Christmas Carol, and it's basically a parody of the Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, but with Snape as Scrooge. I can't believe that no one's done this before, because it fits so well.

It's somewhat off-canon, but that doesn't really matter, since it's supposed to be a humor fic. Everyone's completely IC, except Ginny. But she's only a tiny bit off.

It's only one chapter, but it's a long chapter. I really recommend it, and you should probably save it to your favorites so you can read it around Christmastime. ^_^

Snape Quote of the Week #11

"You don't want me as your enemy, Quirrell," said Snape, taking a step towards him.
"I-I don't know what you--"
"You know perfectly well what I mean."
"An owl hooted loudly, and Harry nearly fell out of the tree. He steadied himself in time to hear Snape say, "--your little bit of hocus-pocus. I'm waiting."
"B-But I d-d-don't--"
"Very well," Snape cut in. "We'll have another little chat soon, when you've had time to think things over and decided where your loyalties lie."

That was from the Sorcerer's Stone, after the Quidditch match that Snape refereed.

It sucks that they had to change the scene to being in the library for the movie, because I think the fact that it's in the Forbidden Forest really sets the mood. But I still get chills whenever I hear Snape say, "You don't want me as your enemy, Quirrell..." His voice just does that to you.

I realized that if that damn owl hadn't hooted, Harry would have known that Snape was actually trying to protect him, and that he should have been hating Quirrell instead. He might have even liked Snape from then on... But he didn't. Because the stupid owl hooted. I want to take a Time-Turner to go back to a few minutes before that happened, and Avada Kedavra that owl.

If you read my fanfiction (And if you haven't, the link is right here.), then you'll have seen this, but this is what I think Harry would have heard Snape say if it weren't for the owl:

You know perfectly well what I mean. All the teachers are supposed to protect the Stone. And Dumbledore trusted all of us, but he’s crackers− trusts too easily. Even little tossers like you. But I want to know what the hell you were playing at the last Quidditch match. Yes, I know about your little bit of hocus-pocus. I’m waiting.

I imagine Quirrell must have been pissing his pants at this point, because Snape can be pretty freaking scary. But it's sexy scary.

Snape Video of the Week #11

Deathly Hallows Part 2 Trailer

I'm sure you've all seen it, but I had to put it up here. There's actually a lot more Snape than I'd have expected. Even aside from Snape, this is the most epic thing I've ever seen.

At the beginning, when they have the HP Theme slowed down and in sync with the clips-- THAT was just sad. And I'm not sure why. But seeing Snape's face when he's walking to Lily's House in Godric's Hollow is just... really sad. I nearly cried at the clip from the Prince's Tale too, when young Lily is making the flower petals grow in her hand. Anyone who saw the trailer and hasn't read the books must have been really confused. Now that I think about it, I doubt the people that only watch the movies understand half of what's going on.

The dragon was so. Freaking. Awesome. I want to ride on that dragon. I can tell that even if they don't get that scene completely right, it's going to be one of the most mind-blowing things you've ever seen.

Okay, the Fiendfyre looked pretty badass too. I hope they stick to the book as perfectly as possible for that scene, because when they're flying out, it says that Draco is screaming and holding on so tightly to Harry that it hurt. I'm looking forward to that Drarry moment. Plus, I know the guy who played Crabbe was arrested for smoking Pot or something like that, so Draco is going to enter the Room of Requirement with Goyle and Blaise instead. I wonder if they'll have Blaise die, or just ignore it. That really irks me, because I really wanted to see Draco start crying over Crabbe.

Molly and Bellatrix= AWESOME. That is definitely going to be one of my favorite scenes. And even though I didn't cry for him the multiple times I've read the book, I'm pretty sure I'll be sobbing for Fred when he dies. Same with Tonks and Lupin.

When I watched the trailer for the first time and saw Snape Disapparating, I couldn't breathe. In my mind, I was screaming, That was the sexiest thing EVER! But then I got a little upset, because it means he won't be jumping out the window. They better still have the fight between Snape, the other teachers, and the suits of armor.

One more thing- Harry pulling Voldemort off the tower... That wasn't in the book, but I have a feeling it'll be one of the better changes. I'm not sure how they'll survive a fall like that, though... Also, am I the only one that thought it looked like they were about to make out?

Weekly Snape-ly Event #11

I literally do not understand why May 2nd is not an official holiday. No, not because Osama died. Because today marks the 13th Anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts.

Today, 13 years ago, countless people gave their lives in the Battle of Hogwarts in order to help Harry defeat the Dark Lord. Including Severus Snape.

Severus Snape died at 38, murdered by Lord Voldemort, who believed by doing so, he would become the true master of the Elder Wand. However, he was wrong, and Severus nearly died in vain. Luckily, Harry Potter witnessed the whole thing, and Severus was able to give his memories to him.

If he had not asked Voldemort to spare Lily, Harry would have died that night in Godric's Hollow. There would never have been a "Boy Who Lived" in the first place.

If he had not stopped Quirrell, Harry would have died in his first year.

If he hadn't felt so sorry for what he had done, Harry would not have been able to kill Voldemort.

Remember Severus Snape, the real hero. Always.

Snape Picture of the Week #11

I love this picture so much... I have it as the icon for a lot of my accounts on other websites. It's just so sad.

I like to think that when Snape died, Lily comes to pick him up and tells him how proud she is of him... *cries* And Snape's just crying with happiness because he didn't fail in his mission, and he finally gets to be with Lily again. I want to meet the person who created this picture, because it's so perfect. It's exactly what I'd imagine it to look like.
